Radio Bonus is created by students of Journalism and Social Communication at the Pontifical University of John Paul II. It was founded on the decision of the University Rector on April 2, 2010. Students involved in its activity have at their disposal professionally equipped broadcasting and recording studio, several editing stands and modern reporter equipment.

Radio Bonus reporters actively participate in every aspect of the University life, documenting important events - also which takes place behind the walls of the University.

UPJPII also wants to promote the University by producing broadcasts presenting its departments and particular faculties. In the Radio Studio, which is located in the building at 1 Franciszkańska Street, there are also created audio materials for institutions with which Radio Bonus cooperates, among others for Vatican Radio, KAI sound service and for local radio stations in the whole country. Internet broadcasting of Radio Bonus program was launched on 19th November 2010.
